This is my most favorite Sushi restaurant in Japan.There are many foreign tourists here and they could enjoy so much.

Friendly 5* chef

Had lunch at Sushi Daisan Harumi before going to NRT for our return flight. The fish was excellent! Although I didn't speak any Japanese, I felt totally welcomed and had an excellent meal.

Old-school sushi. The chef is friendly although little English is spoken.

Not the best, pretty average

Probably the best sushi I've had in my life, but I definitely thought there was still some room for improvement (more variety being the biggest point). Ended with 23 courses from check Nagayama, who himself is an interesting character (from what I gathered through our limited English conversations). He's a bit of a sushi nazi, but in a very nice way. He focuses on seasonal fish, which is a nice way of saying you wont get a huge amount of variety, and will end up doubling up on fish (albeit served in different preparations). But you get a pure edomae, top 20 sushiya for roughly $200 USD (with drinks) for dinner, so it's very good value.
